Hoi An is famous for only a couple of things.
1. Being small and pretty with thin streets and french colonial style buildings lit up with lanterns.
'It doesn't take a huge amount of imagination to figure out what our primary activity was for the next 36 hours'
2. Having about 2000 tailers there in shop after shop that simply want to make you great clothes at very cheap prices........yippee!

It doesn't take a huge amount of imagination to figure out what our primary activity was for the next 36 hours (they don't need long to whip up some gear). Infact apart from a bike ride to the beach we spent most of our time and only a tiny amount of money (1 Thai Silk dress.....20 pounds) getting some new clobber, most of which was quite like something in a magazine (hence the same, same....)
All this means a big box winging it's way homewards with some funky clothes in it which we hope will still fit us in a couple of months. Anyway thanks to the girls at Silk Road!
