Day 111-112 Mumbai

Today started out well. Saw the sunrise at a lookout point in Matheran and then made our way to the train station to catch a train to Mumbai. We were about to board the train and Jag's started feeling very unwell. The outcome was he passed out a few times on our way to Mumbai. Scared the shit out of me, as I'm the one that gets ill not him. We checked him out in a couple of places and then got him to rest. The following day he was fighting fit and seemed like nothing had happened to him. Thank God he's well. Anyway, we decided to see Mumbai in 5 hours as our flight out of India was in the evening to Sydney. So we started at the Gateway of India. We then walked around to many other landmarks in the city. It was a Sunday and the city had a real relaxed feel about it. The elders seem to sleep the afternoons away in the many parks around the city and the youngsters get together at the Oval to take a few wickets. We didn't get to go to Chowpatty beach which was a shame, but we got a flavor for the Mumbaians at the weekend – which is a stark difference to the weekday Mumbaians.
