Spent two days in Kangaroo Island. Contrary to what we imagined (and what our guide book seemed to suggest), the kangaroos were not hopping all over the place.
Still, we managed to get up close to a number of amazing creatures. Many were in the wild, including Australian sea lions, New Zealand fur seals and echidnas.
Other animals, including wallabies and emus, we found at "Paul's Place," which was wild in a different sort of way.
The scenery was also spectacular. I especially enjoyed the "Remarkable Rocks," which were just that, and the Cape du Couedic lighthouse.
