As we head further south shorts and vests have been packed away for our weekend on Chiloe Island. A wildlife paradise with Magellanic and Humboldt penguins, sea otters, flightless steamer ducks, vultures, red-footed cormorants.. Vee had to drag me away from the binoculars!
We visited Chiloe's unique wooden churches and saw a local rodeo with hundreds of gauchos in ponchos, sombreros, boots and spurs!
The road south literally ends on Chiloe so its off on a 3 day ferry journey next to continue heading towards Tierra del Fuego
