Took a daytrip to Rouen, a small town in Normandy France, famous for.. place where Joan of Arc was burn at stake!! Just had HAD to visit. Went with my cousin Phil.

The monument of Joan D'Arc is actually a tall metal cross where she was burned. The dirt and flowers surrounding the site represents her. Phil was a tad unimpressed but I was extremely happy for the visit. Had lunch at a restauran where, of course, we had to sample Normandy's famous cuisine of crepes and Cidar.

Rouen center is one of the most pedestrian friendly French cities I've visited. After Annecy, Rouen has the nicest streets for walking & shopping. Spent the rest of the afternoon shopping. Phil was extremely bored, so we ended up heading home an hour early. Hey I got what I came for: Joan D'Arc, crepes, cidar.

On the train back, a toddlar sitting opposite and a row in front of us barfed and it smelled something nasty for the last hour of the ride.
