Fiji
Day 1- Flew out on monday to Nadi, sat next to a kiwi and chatted all the way. When i arrived i was greeted by a toothless dude called Bowler, who stuck a shell necklace round my neck. We sorted out the tour i was doing called the Kick pass with FeeJee experience and headed to town. Once at the hostel i met a few uk girls who i hang out with for the day.
Day 2 - Got picked up by the bus at 8am, went in to Nadi town. I was then dropped of at a random place where i was going to be picked up by boat and taken on to the Fiji islands. I was the only person there and i waited for 1 1/2hr, soon a bus turned up with people!!! I was glad not to be on my own any more, was worried i had just been dumped! We caught the boat to Robinson Crusoe Island, where we were greeted by fijians singing. We spent the rest of the day kayaking, sunbathing, walking round the island and chilling out. Later in the day we had a welcome ceremony where we got to drink Kava (which is a fijian plant root grounded down and then drunk) the drink is traditional, therefore it is rude to say no or pull a face, me i wouldn't do those things i burped instead!!!! We carried on the night drinking and singing.

Day 3 - Left Robinson Crusoe Island at midday and joined the new bus group. Had a wicked group. Met a kiwi called Jan who is as mad as me, we got on really well. Traveled along the bottom cost of Viti Levu (the main Island in Fiji) on the way we went to a local village and watched women weave mats, met the children who just loved holding your hands. We then went sand boarding which is spot on, ended up with sand in all places but it was lots of fun. Our last stop was at Mango Bay where we went on a sunset cruise, Jan and i got bored on the way home and asked if we could get towed in, the skipper (who was a prick!) bet us that we wouldn't beable to hold on to the rope when he went flat out. Jan and i took the bet for free drinks and of course won!! Had a wicked night drinking free beer and wine!

Day 4 - went on a 3hr trek through the Namosi Highlands, it was a hard walk in the heat. By the end my legs felt like jelly. The walk ended by a large river, where we went tubing, it was lovely. We stopped once we reached a few waterfalls, which all had boards for us to jump of, lots of fun. We then got a lift back to the bus by a river boat which took 40mins, my arse was very numb by the end!! That night the whole bus lot went out for dinner in Suva (Fiji Captial).
Day 5 - On route we went to a traditional village where we met the Chief and drank more Kava, the Chief was very interested in what we all did, he laughed a lot at us which i'm still not to sure why, but oh well!!. Us ladies were sent to do a bit of weaving while the men carried on drinking Kava and chatting! At the end of weaving the ladies were allowed to join back in and drink more Kava too, which was good as i like the stuff (sends you to sleep). We then visited a local school, the chidren were having spots day, so they put on a show for us (singing and dancing). Afterwards, the children took me around their school, they were all really intrested in your age, where you come from and if you had brothers or sisters etc. They loved it when you took pictures of them. It was a great experience, one which i will never forget. After lunch we went Bilibili rafting with the Chief and his family, spent more time swimming and diving of the raft then paddling it, but lots of fun. That night we went to Volivoli where i stayed for 4nights. Had a wicked last night with the dudes i met, Jan, Val, Katie, Andy, Buff, Stu, Tom, George, Phil, Dave and Danielle. The host called PaPa made us play a few games, girls aganist boys. One of the games we had to get ourselves into groups of 2 (for example) if there where 3 of you, you had to kick someone out, papa then would make us do sex positions etc. Dave decided he wanted to pair up with me all the time no matter at what cost, i have never been rugby tackled so much. In the end me dave and val won and i got yet another free drink! By the end of the night we were given more Kava, by this point i was high on Kava and drink, so i was happy to keep the crowd entertained by doing dance routines with andy, we were good!!!

Day 6 to 8 - Said bye to Jan, Katie and Val, was sad to say bye as we had so much fun. I stayed in Volivoli with the lads. During my time there i drank, sunbathed, kayaked and played jack arse games with the lads. Had so much fun with the them, they made me giggle as well as looked after me. Ah!!
Day 9 - Jupmed back on the bus with a new group (not that friendly) we went for a Fijian curry and then to the mud pools and natural hotpools (which were bloody hot) we then got dropped of back to Nadi, where i stayed with the lads and managed to drink far to much JD.

Day 10 - Caught the local bus to the airport, was very pleased with myself as the lads bet i would get lost and miss my flight. Arrived back in Auckland at 5pm, where Amber was waiting for me.
Had such a wicked time in Fiji, its hard to write down how much fun i had and how i met the bestest people ever. The pictures will hopefully show this. Vanessa has now joined me in NZ. Our plan is to leave Monday untill then i will be showing her the sights of Auckland and tonight we are having a girls night in with Amber and Nat, involves lots of Pizza, ice cream and sweets.
