Monday morning Elizabeth and I awoke, packed our things and walked into Thira for breakfast at this delicious creperie. Elizabeth opted for the classic banana Nutella while I chose the honey-walnut crepe. They were both absolutely delicious. Love me some crepes! Once we finished breakfast we took a cab to Akrotiri, the southern most tip of the island, where the red sand beaches were located. We spent about an hour and a half there with the entire group before heading back into Thira to depart for Athens. The red sand beaches were my favorite by far! The water was so intriguingly beautiful with patches of aqua blue amidst the deep blue majority. We thus left Santorini at 3:30 that afternoon and arrived in Athens around 11:45 just in time to crash at our hostel.
