Hey everyone. This is my second entry into my travelblog (Mum hates that word "blog").It has taken me two days to find this page as I forgot what free travel diary I used.

Not long to go now. Only a few more days before the big event. I shouldn't have taken so long off before I flew out as I am now bored, bored, bored waiting.......

Haven't packed yet and now I learn that the credit card I put some of my money into doesn't have the "cirrus logo" so therefore can't be used worldwide. On top of that the bank that I use is a Western Australian bank so I doubt my Eftpos card will be accpeted either. Police & Nurses might have their advantages but this is going to make things difficult. I phoned the bank and it's a no go with P & N's but the c/c they assure me will fine. I may have to get some travellers cheques as I don't want to travel with too much cash. Cash ahhhh that sounds lovely. Wish I had more of it. The ADO's I asked to be paid out for didn't come thru (Kristy you'd know what that's like) as the receptionist didn't put the request in. So, just something else I have to sort out before I leave. They do say that a holiday is a contradiction in terms as you don't really get to "relax and enjoy" it if you have never been there before but it's gotta beat going to work!

Anyway not much else to add. Will keep in touch as much as I can at the internet cafe's along the way. I've decided not to take the laptop as it's too much bother trying to look after it all the time. We fly out Tuesday 13th but I may write before that.
