Seville
From My time in Europe 2006 in Seville, Spain on Jan 18 '06
Arrived in Seville. While the cathedral outside this window is by far my favorite thus far I´m glad I´m not in the program here. I¨ve already bumped into college kids speaking English.
We took a long beautiful and curvy drive here and stopped in two small towns or pueblos. I enjoyed them a lot. Like most towns in southern spain, all the houses were white with colorful doors and flowers. The small stone streets and mountainous locations were great for exploration. Me and 4 friends bought food in a market and had an amazing picnic at the tip-top of the second town. I loved it. Even compared to the ridiculously expensive meals we´ve had with the group thus far this picnic was my favorite. In contrast Seville is rather modern with apartment complexes and big paved streets, similar to a city in the US.
pueblos vs. Seville
I´m excited to explore Seville tonight and tomorrow with the group. Perhaps even a disco or two. Hope all is well in the states!
