We arrived in Nice in time for a quick shower to get ready for our bus trip to Monacco to visit the Grand Casino!!! We arrived at the Casino and you had to show your passport and pay €10 to get in, they then print you out a ticket with your passport details on it. I tried my luck on the slot machines (not like me at all!?!) and won myself €115 (about $200) which was great, that is where I stopped, (I know - also unlike me?!) the slot machines here are very difference from the pokies in Oz and aren't as fun to play.. We were going to stay at the casino for a couple of drinks but the drinks were averaging €13 so we thought otherwise. It was time to get the bus back to Nice so we rounded up the Contikians and headed out.

The next day we headed to a small village outside of Nice which was so beautiful with tiny little streets and alley ways, we visited an old cemetary and took in the views from the top. Finishing off with a traditional game of bochee...
