Oh yeah, the KIA car is a whole returned to the Budget Parking area, and we do have where to spent the night ahead. Hostel near by the bus station is just one block from the Budget rental agency. We would like to go for a beer in one of the local Pubs, and our tummies should have a chance to try some traditional Irish dinner… We went in a few pubs, which were all small and full, then in the third one we could find a seat. It was a great place to enjoy Carlsberg or the traditional Guinness. It is the seventh day in Ireland for us… Galway is all ways good.

We looked for an ATM bank machine downtown Galway. I found some nice bilingual Legends, Myths and Proverbs books on William Street, and hid ourselves from the rain in the first pub. Murphy’s Bar was a classic Irish Bar, and at that time of day pretty full. Jerry had local beer, I ordered Danish lager Carlsberg again, and Philee an Irish Coffee in glass with stem like a thick wine glass. When the rain calmed down, we went outside to see more of Galway. We took a walk along the river, today so wild and muddy, we kept going until the Harbor of Atlantic Ocean, and enjoyed the Quay Ship. That afternoon started the gusty winds, and our goose bumps got us to the Cathedral of Galway, where I wished to take pictures of stained glass windows. The strong sunshine that came through the stained-glass windows that brought the boat of the church a colorful breath that makes me happy in any place on this planet. It does not need to be sunny, it works with a day light as well… But believe me or not, the battery was dead, and the second was not recharged, so my mood got down, but I decided I have to come back tomorrow.

The next stop was The King’s Head for a few pints of Kilkenny’s Beer, sort of local red Ale, in a House of late Bars on three floors. We did cheers with Philee in this pub of Knights, which have a deep eight hundred years of history in this marvelous Town. Happy Birthday!

Down Town surrounding is rich of shops, pubs, Bars and Restaurants, although Wine places such “A Bunch of Grapes” for those who could miss the real taste of Sunshine on this rainy part of world or “Whole wheels of Cheeses”, with local cow and sheep cheeses of different ages.

We did stop by The Living Room tonight, and guys figured out that their computers were connected with Wifi, so we decided we gonna come back for Sunday’s Brunch tomorrow, and do our duties, kinda work… It is not far a way from Galway Cathedral to stop by with filed up batteries, and make happy all three of us.

Murty Rabbits place become the favorite place of Philee’s. During our short stop, before midnight, Bros Seegers each sat regally in a Thrones adorned by lions. I took a place near the fire place (it is a shame this time without flames). We didn’t stay for long, but we felt very blue blooded, even if with a beer in heads, tea cups, and a cup of hot water in hand. It was a nice dot at the end of Philee’s Big night, he turned thirty five listening to folk Irish music. We felt quite fancy in these comfy chairs crafted by one of Ireland’s best woodcarvers.

Here under I have to notice the toilet accessories designed by Bobric in the bathroom up stairs of three floors of The living room Bar Restaurant on the Bridge Street in Galway. It is Canadian company, founded in Toronto, distributed by friend of ours Hector Gallardo Milian.

Strong black Coffee

Double Cream

Warm a stemmed whiskey glass and pour in one third of glass of Irish whiskey. Add 1 or 2 teaspoons sugar, then fill to about 1 inch of the rim with hot, strong black coffee. Stir to dissolve the sugar then top up with 1 tablespoon of double cream, pouring it gently into the glass down the back of the bowl of teaspoon. Do not stir, but drink the Irish Cofee through the thick cream foam.
