Alice Springs

Having completed our Kings canyon walk by 11.30am, we started out on our long drive to Alice. We arrived early evening and eat in the hotel. A delicous curry.

Day 4 - We headed into Alice Springs for the morning, as our tour didn't pick us up till 2.30pm. Lots of nice shops, lunch, then off on our afternoon tour of the flying doctor service, school on the air and the telegraph station. All very interesting, but didn't get to say any action, so to speak. We went up anzac hill for a photo stop then headed home. Ate again in the hotel because it was so good the night before... However we didn't allow for it being Friday night and had to wait an hour - so we played cards - rummy with a tennis tournament style! I won. 2 sets to love!
