Back for more in BA, Palermo style

We returned to BA, this time staying in Palermo. This area is very different from San Telmo and the centre where we had stayed previously. It is a lot more European like with more modern bars, restaurants and boutique type shops all over the place. It is strange in a way that staying in different areas of a city can leave you with very different impressions of it, both are great though. We were to spend New Year here.
Started our stay here by checking out a few of the bars (well 8 or 9 to be precise). The route was loosley based on a Time Out recommendation, although many of the bars had changed or closed since it was written. Many many nice bars and restaurants. Being English, we even managed to fit in a curry. Not up to the standard of curries back home, but still tasty all the same.
More bars, shops, restaurants and parties later it was time to move on. BsAs has been good to us, and we certainly would like to return sometime in the future. Our favourite city so far.
