Ambers dad John lives in Napier so he kindly let us stay with him and Barney, Ambers bro. We first went round Napier town and had a look at some of the Art Deco its famous for, we also booked our winery trip for sunday and then headed to John house. The house is very cool, with lots of drift wood and buddy the dog. Ness and i went for a wonder round the area and came across a Christmas Carol show, which were giving away free hot dogs and drink, ness and i who don't ever pass on free stuff decided to check it out and ate 2 each, the drinks had far to many e numbers for me so i thought id better not.

John, barney, ness and i went out for sunday breakfast and then the plan was to go surfing but no swell (surf is hit or miss on the east side) so we took our time and went to Bluff hill to look at the view. The winery tour picked us up at 12pm and we headed for our first winery which was Trinity Hill, tasted lots of wines, most of then were yummy. The seconded winery was Sileni Estates where we tasted wine and cheese, yummy again, we also managed to get a free lunch, which was handy as i was starting to get a little light headed!! The third winery was called Alpha Domus which is where my fav wine was. The last winery was called Vidal wines, all yummy again. By the end i think i was a little tipsy, on the way home i annoyed vanessa and was hungry again!! Lucky for me John's mate came round with some cray fish and we had cray fish curry, yummy. So all in all i had a yummy time in Napier!!!!
