Debarkation

Following a lovely brunch,all 145 of us boarded a lovely yacht that had been chartered to take us on a 2 1/2 hour cruise down the inland waterway to Ft Lauderdale habour to board our home for the next 126 days-The Silversea Shadow. We enjoyed drinks and a lovely buffet lunch as we cruised by some beautiful homes. As we approached the ship a fireboat saluted us with the

traditional water display as a plane flew over towing a banner,"Bon Voyage-Silverseas World Cruise 2007". We were glad to get into our suite #808 and to find the 4 large suitcases we had shipped the week before. Joanne and Donny are in #826.

Following the sailaway party on deck they decided to have room service due to her having the start of a cold. We were joined for dinner by a couple,Sybil and Terry      whom we had met during our Silversea trip on this same ship from Bejing to Tokyo in May 2004. They are from Glochester and live around the corner from the Neuhausers. By the way that was the cruise we got

to know Kent and Jean Peterson. We returned to iur Suite and were delighted to find a nice message and lovely garden arrangement sent by Ginna Martens.
