Had breakfast with Sponge Bob, Squidward, Dora, Angelica, took the pics and checked out and headed for the Space Centre. Alex and Greg have especially been looking forward to going here.. When we got there we found out that the space centre is really just a museum but to see the launch pads etc, you need to take a tour ad all the tours for the day were booked so we bought a two day pass so we could do the tour tomorrow and spend today exploring the space centre. It was pretty cool.. very interesting. We met an astronaut named Winston Scott and Alex had his photo taken with him. It wa really interesting.. he gave a talk and showed us a slide show and told us about his trips into space.. then there was a question / answer segment afterward and he was really patient and answered everyone's questions.. He told us the criteria for becoming an astronaut and how the selection process works.. pretty interesting.. such a waste of resources when one of those ships go down and they lose a team.. they train together for over 2 years before a mission and their skills and education and experience is incredible.. to lose them in a flash of an instant is so devastating..

Headed to an RV camp that was close as we're going back tomorrow. In my opinion, two days of the space centre, as magnificent as it is, is overkill, but as the boys wanted to do the tour of the launch pads, it looks like tomorrow it is..
