After taking 30 minutes to walk to a hotel that was 3 minutes away from the train station, we checked into a nice old place in the middle of downtown.  The city itself was quite scenic, but I didn't really get the "Denmark feel"...basically because downtown appeared to be lined with Scottish pubs that played American pop music from the 1980's.  We were able to take a touristy bus trip around the city which was nice; getting to see a royal palace, the Little Mermaid statue (a big deal over there), and other awesome old-school buildings.  I would've liked to have stayed longer but better things awaited, so the next day it was off to Sweden...
