There's so much to do in San Diego.  We need to go back again to do everything we didn't have time for.

San Diego is a large city.  It doesn't really seem so large though.  It is spread out into different communities; each them with their own unique character.  The city is clean and seems really safe.  We found that the freeways were easy to navigate.

There are many beaches.  They also had their own unique characters.  Some were surfing beaches while others were full of a young crowd and others more family oriented.  Our personal favorite was the Dog Beach in Ocean Beach.  It was fun to watch the dogs running around enjoying themselves along with their owners.

Due to the great weather in San Diego, there are lots of outdoor activities to enjoy.  We went kayaking through the La Jolla caves (awesome trip), hiked to Cedar Falls, strolled along the beaches, and took a bay cruise.

Balboa Park and the San Diego Zoo are real treasures.  The plants, architecture, and animals are all very special.  There are more museums with fascinating exhibits than you can visit in a day.
