Cordoba is a lovely Spanish town that has a very similar feel to Serville but with a smaller town feel. We arrived mid afternoon so we spent this time wandering the streets. Like Seville, this town has a old jewish quarter which is amazing and very easy to get lost in. Our accommodation was situated in this section and was very beautiful. It had an amazing court yard with tiled walls and a fountain in the middle. That night we wandered into a small bar (with bull fighting photos all over it) and had a great tapas meal with some great spainish beer. To Meagan´s delight a place slightly down the street sold churros and Meagan was able to have her first churros in Spain.

The main reson we ventured up here was for a mosque turn church which our guide book stated as one of Spains highlighlights. It was an amazing (extremely large) building that had some beautiful arches and decorations. It had an interesting mix of islamic and christian decorations and this added to the fascination of the place. After this we spotted a little street side booth selling churros and hot chocolate. Meagan was in heaven.
