Belize is so much fun! As we went through border control they asked us girlies "how you doin'?.." and asked my toucan for his passport.

We grabbed a taxi to San Ignacio, and kept having to remind ourselves that the driver could understand what we said, so we kept the expletives to a minimum. He stopped the cab to show us some ruins over by the river and gave us some cool local info. I filled my head with plans to go down the river in a rubber ring, but laziness had taken over by the next day. Anyway, we dropped our stuff in our little huts and I ate some more guacamole tortillas and fell asleep. Woke up in time to go to dinner in the cafe up the road ( I had cake).

Next day was spent trying to get money and drinking beer on the pavement. Had a comic moment between a member of our group, a big bag of pork scratchings and a bunch of confused locals! Then we went up to some posh little hotel and swam in their pool with a bunch of crazy children and Germans in socks.

Was there another day in San Ignacio? If there was, we just did the same thing. How lazy are we!!!
