Nearing the town of Narrows. Set foot momentarily in West Virginia. I’ve been sorta following a fellow my parent’s age the last few days. His name is Jedi Birder. He started with his wife but she got hurt. He’s been very nice, telling all the nobo's -north bound hikers - about me (sobo)and telling them to make sure that I’m doing ok. We have lots of things in common: like being sobo’s, a love of Garrison Keillor, peanut butter and Charles Dickens. Tomorrow I will hit Pearisburg and shower. When 'I' think I need a shower...
