Paros is a great island with rolling hills, pretty beaches, and nice towns. We stayed outside of Parikia (the main port town).

The full-day boat tour around the island was incredible.

We enjoyed going to Parikia for evening strolls by the pier and nice dinners with fantastic sunsets

We enjoyed going to Parikia for evening strolls by the pier and nice dinners with fantastic sunsets. Restaurants specialized in everything from crepes to pizza and, of course, Greek specialties such as seafood and eggplant dishes galore. Most nights we'd also wander inland, stroll through the narrow streets, and browse in cute shop---all before stopping to enjoy dessert crepes, ice cream, and espresso!!

Caves off the coast of Antiparos. Yes, we swam through them!

We also took a trip to Naoussa, a smaller town on the eastern side of the island.  Many restaurants strung up lines draped with freshly caught fish and octopus.

It was great to be on small island, where a cheap taxi ride will get you across the island.

On our last night on Paros, we bravely took a ferry to Antiparos and enjoyed the quieter island that's merely a 10 minute boat ride away from Paros.
