Legoland today.  We headed off and it took about 45minutes from San Diego to get there.  This was on Al's list of places to go and I thought it would be just average but I was pleasantly surprised.

What a unique little place this is.  So many things made of Lego - the mini cities were awesome.

They even had a mini-inauguration set up complete with darker skin shades of logo for the Obama team.  Uber cool !  No crowds, I'm sure Legoland weren't thrilled with the turnout for today, but we were thrilled!  No queues, no crowds, no wait..   This is restoring my faith in theme parks !

We left Legoland around 3pm and it took us 4 hours to drive through 118miles!  Can you believe it.  It should have taken us 2 hours!  Ridiculous.. but such is the traffic in CAlifornia.  Must talk to Arnie about that..  I'll be telling him 'I (WONT) be back' on his roads again... unless he 'terminates' his shitty road situation.

Arrived in Malibu LATE.. can hear the beach.. but we cant see it as it's dark.. but I have a feeling we're going to wake up to a beautiful view !  Roll on morning..
