The drive up to Jasper has to be one of the more humerous drives of the whole trip!, All because of one certain young chap...whom has now learnt his lesson that Triple Vodkas are probably not a good idea!!

We left Banff early morning (Mark with about a thousand water bottles in tow) and went straight into Lake Louise. This is the most popular touristy lake in the Rockies and its understandable why. Its an amazing lake with great sights to be seen, I wish we had longer to hang around there and the weather was a little bit better (It was the first and only bit of rain I've had my whole trip that morning). However the photos we got there still can convey the beauty (Crikey I'm starting to sound like a preacher here) of the lake!

The drive up to Jasper was awesome, The Rockies in their prime. We went through the Icefields Parkway which is one of the world's greatest Scenic mountain drives and had lunch at a place...which I can not remember. It was a bit very pretty though. There was water and we sat on massive rocks - their was a story to this...in which my memory is failing me to recall...

We stopped at the Columbia Icefield (Athabasca Flacier) which is the largest Ice cap south of the Artic circle and could cover an area the size of Vancouver itself! It wasn't anything new or stunning to me as it was similar to any other glacier but we still had our fun up on it doing a bit of slip sliding.

We didn't manage to get much time to check out the sights in Jasper itself - Me, Maya, and Baby Arms managed to see more of it that everybody else as we managed to walk straight past one obvious liqour store and walk to the other end of town to where we were told the closest one was! Good times.

The Hostel we stayed at was...like been back in school and going camping. It was in the wops to easily put it. It was quite far out of town and had no running water so we got to rough it and just chill out in nature for the night. Played some pingpong, made some fajitas, then had a bombfire to take us into the night.

Ha - as you can tell, we really like Lake Louise

Pleasent times!(Well except for our Triple Vodka friend, it took him all day of stopping the bus to go outside to...regurgitate...ha, does this remind you of anything Luke?! The trips so much funnier when its not actually you hanging outside the door!)
