Looking for a motorhome

It all started when, after leaving our son, wife & baby in Perth we arrived at our dear friends in Den Haag. We'd stayed there MANY MANY times before over the years (since 1972) - so it was great to see them again along with their daughters and grandson.
We had been communicating before leaving Aus with a lady in Utrecht as, from her web site, she was an "expert" at finding vehicles for us Antipodeans as the Netherlands do not allow ownership of vehicles even those who hold "dual" EU/Aus citizenship!
THE HOUSE FROM HELL !!!

So we set off for Utrecht finding her house quite easily and after being confronted with 2 large black gates.....we rang the bell. As time passed in the cold and icy wind a rather overweight and puffed American lady opened the creaky doors, led us up an alleyway adorned by aging, rusting motorhomes up into a doorway and up and up a shaking, twisting spiral staircase. We climbed into a room littered with cig butts and piles of paperwork and old cups of coffee, the computer being buried under a mound of stuff in the corner - the "House from Hell". Rooms led higgledy piggledy off every angle of this weird house with the toilet being the other end of this house, down another creaky staircase and a wash basin with a tap that is probably still running!

An hour later we had decided not to buy our motorhome this way altho a trip to a dealer outside Utrecht did reveal some good vehicles.
So, after checking on line for a number of days, we found to our surprise that a number of left hand drive vehicles were available in the UK, so off we set!
We had a lovely week in the Hague, visiting our friends boat and enjoying good company, good food and although quite rainy did spend one day at Kijkduin (beach area) sitting in the sun along with the rest of the aged population, faces bent towards the sun, enjoying "happy hour" at 3pm!
