Madrid! The first whirlwind adventure

I LOVE MADRID. I've decided this. It is such an incredible city. People are so laid back its amazing. We're staying in this adorable little hotel in the center of the city that is only accessible by these amazing pedestrian only streets. its so great. Everything is close by, and everyone is nice. It is a big city so there are big city characteristics but I just love it. We went out to tapas and Sangria with like 8 of us last night at like 11:00 and i felt so safe walking around there were lights and fabulous people everywhere. We're only here for one more day, and i'm going to miss it, but at the same time, granada will be amazing too.

So far we saw the Prado Museum. Which was wonderful they have so many masterpieces, and what not. it is great. And we went to La Palacia Real. The royal palace which was gorgeous. I wish I could have taken pictures inside the palace.

I am slowly falling in love with Spain. Watch out guys, I may not come back. ;)

OH, and funny story, me and my three roommates were so tired last night when we set an alarm for oh 10:30 am, we didn't realize that it was for NY time, (because her phone was still set on NY time...) haha. Thank god Dorothy woke up in time, literally 10 minutes from the time we were leaving for the Museum. It was hilarious. Quite the hysterical morning.
