Polperro is a small and very pretty fishing village at the bottom of a deep ravine. It has a very small harbour complete with fishing boats protected by a large wall and a moving gate. The town seems to look down upon the harbour from all sides with lots of tiny cottages on top of one another – very quaint.
Unfortunately while we were there it was raining pretty hard. One of the local B&Bs is called Sea Haze so i'm guessing this isn’t an uncommon event. By the way, avoid the fish and chip shop if you happen to visit!
