After departing out drive at home it took us 30 minutes to get to the Yeppeen Roundabout. A very large lowloader carrying an even larger low loader destined for the mines. But once clear of that it was a smooth run down to Miriamvale where we stopped for a bite to eat. The first servo you come to on the northern end has changed hands yet again. But this time the new owner seems to have some drive. Renovations, paint, new toilets, new pumps, new staff and crab sandwichs on the menu. That is Helens eating department, I stick to a beef, bacon and cheese burger. We had a talk to the new owner and saddled up and continued on to Gin Gin.
Arriving in Bundy at 2:45pm and into our site for the week. Unhitched, had a cuppa tea and into town to get dinner.
Watch out for the large wide loads on the Highway
