Traveling throughout Europe with several friends, we decided to trade our euro for the pound (ouch!) and spend two nights in London.

By far, London is one of my favorite places on earth. From the sights to the people, nothing is more welcoming than the city of London.

Although I spend a brief two days in London, I will never forget my trip to the Westminster Abbey. The Church was absolutely breath taking, and packed with so much history. Buried inside of the Church are the bodies of many well known figures, such as Alfred Lord Tennyson and Charles Darwin.

However, what I found most enjoyable was my stroll through the famous Hyde Park. A rather enormous park, I had seen nothing like it before. I especially enjoyed the Princess Diana Memorial Fountain, which flowed in a circle to represent eternity.

Next up was a trip to the Buckingham Palace. Although we missed the changing of the guards, I still found myself awestruck by the magnificence of the palace and could not stop taking pictures!

Overall, it was the atmosphere in London that I truly enjoyed. Although the weather was not too great, it seemed that nothing could rain on my parade. Two days was definitely not enough time! I plan on returning to London soon!
