Hong Kong was a fun place to spend the day. Getting through the airport was easy and immigration was fast. I picked up a walking tour brochure at one of the kiosks and hopped on the Airport Express train to Kowloon. I think it cost around 100 HK$ to buy a sameday round-trip ticket. From the Kowloon subway station, it was a few blocks to Kowloon Park. In such a crowded and frenetic city, having a peaceful park to spend some in in was great. Just a few feet from the entrance was a pond full of flamingos.
Exciting big city with some interesting places.
