In our photo collection Kusadasi and Ephesus are blended together, but they are actually miles apart and centuries apart.  Ephesus is an incredible ancient Roman City which has vast historical significance.  Kusadasi is a little blood-sucking port town that thrives on extracting tourist dollars from everyone passing through to see Ephesus.  It's fun to walk through the touristy rip-off town, but I don't recommend leaving any money with them.  Instead, just wander around to saying "no", "no", "no", "I don't want to buy it", "no", "no".  Forget about being polite to them.  They won't be polite to you.  They're just pushy money-grabbers.  Move on to see Ephesus as soon as possible.

Ephesus is incredible; Kusadasi is the pushy tourist rip-off place at the nearby port town.
