Wow. This is not what I expected!

What a strange place. Very dirty with sharp divisions over class.. seems most people are pretty darned poor... highlights are talks with my Philippine friend, Frederick on Manila Bay as some really excellent cover bands played in the moonlight.. San Miguel's for less than 50 cents... and seeing the world through different eyes.

Low's include Cebu City "kidnapping" attempt (blown out of proportion by my imagination), cab rides, and being propositioned by a woman cabbie on the way to the airport.

Just plain strange.
