Arrived in Bratislava at 11pm, our hostel seemed pretty good.  The next morning we dedicated ourselves to walking the streets of the old town and taking in the sights from the castle at the top of the hill looking over Bratislava.  The town was pretty small, but quite picturesque.  We were surprised that on a Saturday the place was completely dead, only a couple of tourists walking around.  We had dinner that night at a groovy pub, a meal of dumplings, sheeps cheese and pork belly, not for the health conscious, but extremly satisfying!

The next morning we woke up and decided to venture out to Devín, a very small town with a fantastic ruined castle.  We spent a good deal of the day here, then went back into town to the Jewish heritage centre that was very interesting. Overall, Bratislava was a nice place to stay for a couple of days.
