Leaving The Mill

Its our last weekend at the Mill, we cant believe the last two months have gone so quickly.

As the weather slowly turns towards Autumn we are sad to be leaving this place, the colours changing on the trees and the locals gathering speed towards pig slaughtering and olive gathering season, we are starting to feel like we belong here, and wish we could hang around - sadly we have to get going to India!!!!!!

Kath and Andy have made us feel so welcome here and I wonder where we will end up on our travels more tranquil or soothing than this place.

Mum and Dad (Vinson) visited and we enjoyed many walks and fine meals and a great evening agonizing over a cryptic crossword. Thank you for spoiling us rotten, putting up with Tim´s moaning about his back and the capitulation of English sportsmen. Oh and thanks for Hob Nobs - think they were gone before you.

So sad to be moving on but move we must, back up north where I imagine its cold, damp and dark. Still a whirlwind tour of the UK shoudl keep us warm and we look forward to seeing lots of you in Dorset,Kent and London for the fireworks!
