· We had the most wonderful catch up sleep this morning- much needed, as the muscles were still a little sore! At brekky, Mary had her first taste of Vegemite- wasn’t that hilarious. Once showered and all, just the 2 of us headed into a town called Tubbercurry. Cute little place. I had Nora’s library card to get free internet, which was great to catch up on emails etc. We picked up a few food items and headed back. It was such a beautiful day we decided to take Plugga for a ride with both of us- he struggled in a few spots but it was a lot of fun for all! Kev had to then take him off to the shops as we forgot cream for dinner. He was so excited that he’d clocked himself at 50km an hour- flat bikky!!! After that, the cook off began. Beatrice cooked Kev the traditional bacon and cabbage that he’d been dying to try (Jules wasn’t as keen) and then we returned a favour and cooked them up a nice creamy pasta dish. They loved it! We spent the night with many more laughs. The place truly has felt like home for the past 2 days. It will be very difficult to leave in the morning.
