After an hours car journey with no air conditioning, felt like we were sitting in a sauna we arrived in the new town. The city was much bigger than where I had been living in Germantown and everything much taller than the u.k. It was one of the hottest days so far so not the best day to choose to travel to the city. We had a walk around, I had to work hard to resist from shopping. We saw the Aqairium although didnt have enough time on our parking meter to go in so were going back another day. We then grabbed a drink at the Hard Rock Cafe where I had a strawberry virgin sat outside on the harbour where they had a bbq grilling. We went in a huge sports store which had all the local American football and baseball items on sale and a huge games arcade on the top floor, they were big like I had never seen before for example there was a hockey game which had its own small rink same for baseball there was a pitch where the balls would get thrown out. I think it was a school trip because it was packed. We then went back in our sauna on wheels and went into the old town where it had small pubs and shops on cobbled streets still on the harbour. We got ice cream as it was so hot. Our next stop was Hagerstown where there are alot of outlet stores with stupididly cheap prices. I had previously been shopping there so again I had to resist from my urge to shop as I showed the lads around. It came to around 8.30pm and we headed back home in which we got caught in a huge thunder storm. We could hardly see where we was going and the lightning was going straight to the ground, I couldn't wait to get home. But that night we had a columbian party where a few apartments gathered round and I got introduced to columbian music and dancing. It was cool but I was so tired from a long day as I had been up since 6.30am I passed out and fell asleep on the sofa and then had to go to work in the morning
