Alright - so we headed to Bocas Del Toro to celebrate my 37th birthday in style!  How the hell did I get so old?

Here's a quick summary of trip so far....

Day 1 - leave Miami and arrive in Bocas at 4:00pm. Schlep large, heavy backpack all over town looking for suitable accommodations. Sweat profusely. Find highly questionable and relatively UN-suitable accommodations but take it anyway as we are sweaty, exhausted and I feel the beginnings of what I not-so-fondly refer to as "FatGirl Chafe" coming on... Day 2: Wake up, complain loudly about crappy bed and heat. Pack and get the hell outta Dodge. Water Taxi over to new, nicer - if not significantly more expensive - digs where we unpack and wax poetic about the virtues of air conditioning. Head to Red Frog Beach where we spend the afternoon attempting to bodysurf which mostly results in my bathing suit being stripped from my body and me being pummeled into oblivion on the ocean floor by the massive waves. Sand is now in every conceivable bodily orifice, not to mention other decidedly inconceivable places on the body.TurboJam does not get done today but I figure my struggle to survive the ocean had to have burned a couple hundred calories so we call it a day. Day 3: After staying out far too late the night before, we drag out of bed for our 9:30am trip to snorkel and watch the dolphins. Spend much of the day in small, uncomfortable boat but do, in fact, get to see dolphins and the snorkeling is incredible! Head back into Bocas town for dinner where we have this amazing meal and I definitely eat WAY too much tonight. We meet these crazy Texans who moved here about a year ago and spend the rest of the evening chatting with them. Good times! Day 4: We decided to move back into Bocas town today but when we wake up it is raining steadily and, unfortunately, Jenn has contracted a nasty bug which is keeping her alternately in the bed or the bathroom. She's quite sick actually, which sucks, so we're looking after her today. However, since we seem to be somewhat stuck here today inside there is still a good chance that TurboJam may actually get done today... All is not lost...
