A biker in the dark

My third day away from California.

A moon sliver, the frozen river and a biker in the dark.

How can one deny the beauty of a moon crescent with a bright star at its side looking down to frozen river and naked trees? As I was coming back from my stroll along the river I saw a candlelight moving toward me. I was focused to see the carrier of it, a Dutch biker with his head covered by a hood! As I was struggling to keep my feet on the icy walk path, a big dog waiting on the side, started barking at me. Barely skipped, I was welcome by its friend, twice bigger and mean looking one. In a blink of an eye it jumped on my bony chest and my derri\232re landed on the cold icy Dutch ground while the owner of the dog was telling me something in Dutch, perhaps it is a nice friendly dog, do not worry.
