Rubbish bus ride to Christchurch and over to OZ!

Hello there people back in real life!!

Yep that bus journey was truley rubbish. I kinda got excited about being able to sleep at one point when the driver turned the crap music off, only to be jolted awake by "The Last Samouri" on the TV. Unfortunatelly I love this film and it was far too loud to get any kip, so if you can't beat 'em, join 'em!

Eventually reached Christchurch by 9.30ish to a very cold and long waiting Jo who had kindly given up free tickets to a VIP night in a club to come pick me up. Bless her, she'd had the worst day in the world including having to talk a suicidal stranger back from the brink! She then took me for a beer with Flavio (housemate) and I collasped fairly early on the sofa at her place after a few kisses with the dog cos I'm missing my Flo.

Fri 6th Oct

Jo left early the next day as she was catching a flight to Auckland for work so I spent the morning repacking all the stuff I'd left at her place before the whirlwind tour of South Island. No mean feet can tell you! I've had to buy more warm clothes for those chilly nights in NZ and they don't appreciate being crammed into a smelly old backpack.

Bless the lovely Flavio helped me into town with my rediculous amount of bags and put me on the right bus to the airport. I could easily get used to being chaperoned! Don't think it's easy making all the decisions yourself....sometimes it's great for someone to just shuv you in the right direction!

At the bus stop we whitnessed an full on car crash then my mates from Queenstown showed up (Dawn French)! Horrraghhhh!! Love bumping into freinds in strange places!

Then it was time to leave the place where I began my travels. Sad to go? absolutely! But still looking forward to the next leg and the continuation of some hilarious adventures! Whhhhhhooooooooooooooopppeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!
