We were up early to beat the crowds, and more importantly the heat. The ruins were, of course, amazing. But with their new status, they now being treated better and that means no tourists are allowed to stomp around/up them anymore. The main pyramid was pretty big, the ball court where mysterious mayan games were played, is the biggest of its kind. Concerning nature type of game, the teams captain was generally decapitated, whether it was the losing or the winning team is hotly debated by those "in the know". We caught a bus around midday and headed for Cancun.
