Tragedy has struck for me in Vancouver. I received a phone call at 05:00 AM GMT from my friend that is taking care of my apartment. "Your fish are all dead". For those of you that do not know, my aquarium is my passion, it is a hobby  that I have invested countless hours and dollars building this year alone.

Something has happened in the aquarium to kill every living being in it. That is around 60 to 70 fish and shrimp. I am not there to diagnose it, but my very good friend is taking care of everything for me. I don't know what could have happened.

60 deaths in the family

Today got off to a bad start, but I am good at putting things in the back of my mind. We woke up properly around 11:15 and ran out the door at 11:30 to pick up my Grandma from her house.

We then drove off to the seaside to have lunch at a little cafe called 5 on the beach, in a town called  Cleavedon. After lunch we drove around the countryside for  while and then back to Grandmas for tea. We had many laughs as Hazel teased us all,  and then headed off for home.

That's about it for today I suppose. Still no photos.

We are thinking of changing our travel plans to skip the UK portion and head south right away. We would be missing Scotland and Ireland, but would be seeing more of Portugal and Morocco!
