At Sea... somewhere between Cocos and Costa Rica

So, we're on Cocos Island tomorrow!! We will be arriving

there sometime early tomorrow morning, and will anchor a ways off the island. Then, they'll take us in groups with the smaller boats off of the ship, and then we'll have to swim to shore from the boats. We then have four

hours to explore the island. Earlier today we actually anchored right off the coast of Costa Rica for

about three hours, getting clearance from their customs. Hopefully that means that on Tuesday when we go to Costa Rica we'll already be cleared and will be able to get off the ship earlier. What I saw today of Costa Rica was

amazing. We were just about half a mile from the coast, and it was very tropical, green and jungle-like. In the far distance I used my binoculars to see a large house or resort of some type, but for the most part it looked

very wild and uninhabited. Where we're going in Golfita will probably be very different though.

Well, I'll let you all know how the treasure hunt goes tomorrow.... hopefully I won't encounter any sharks, pirates or huge exotic spiders on my quest.
