Saturday, February 3rd 2007 (Travel day to Picton)
Yet another great travel day! I decided to take the long “scenic” way to our destination, (Jacqueline is starting to cringe when I indicate we are taking the scenic route, as this usually means travelling up steep grades over windy extremely skinny roads). Yep…that pretty much sums up our trip to Picton! Well we are now ready to go to bed and spend our final night on the south Island of NZ. It has been everything and more, much more than I had anticipated. If the north Island is anything like the south, we are in for 10 fantastic exciting exhilarating days.
Our journy to the south Island draws near...
