I spent my first whole day in Melbourne going to some places that I hadn't had time to go to in my last visit. I started my day at the Victoria Parliament. Quite a beautiful and extravagant building! Then went over to the Old Treasury Building where they have a small museum on Melbourne history and the old gold vaults in the basement, which were kind of creepy.

Next was a tour of the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) where I had watched my first AFL game the last time I was in Melbourne! I was the only girl of about 20 that were on the tour and was well looked after. The tour was long and very interesting. Alot of sporting history here.

After my tour I wandered around the Botanic Gardens for awhile. Its such a beautiful and relaxing place.
