Clean clothes

Yesterday, I was 90% certain that I would return to the U.S. when I finish my tour of Russia. This morning, I went to a laundrymat and, while watching my clothes go 'round, took another look at some travel options for the next three months. It didn't take too long to get excited again about the possibilities - the places I still want to see and the things I want to do. By the time the dryer stopped spinning, I was ready to keep travelling. \r

I'm not sure whether my change in outlook was influenced more by reluctance to go home until I've checked a few more places off my list or by the thought of having a whole duffel bag full of clean clothes. Nothing like nice, clean underwear to make one feel that anything is possible.
