I didn’t even know we were stopping here but we took the ferry and spent the day. An amazing island which again surprised me because I had no expectations. Took a ferry cruise around the island it was beautiful I was in tears of joy. It’s the first island experience I had. The natural beauty was breathtaking and I was inspired to write yet again

I also chose to see the blue grotto, a cave to lay down in a small dingy to get into, the Italian rower sings Italian opera and amazing blue light illuminates the entire cave sparkling in this amazing colour.

The water around there was so amazing so different a deep emerald blue, cliff faces all around draped in strong tall green trees.

I later took a cable cart to the top of the island and enjoyed the view, bought a lemon and blood orange icey which was delicious.

Went back down walked along the restaurants and shops sat and ate the most delicious pasta. This marinara, fresh seafood in a rich tomato sauce with baby tomatoes, ooh it was the BEST I have ever had!

Some people went for a swim I just walked around.
