Day 1: The first day we checked into our hotel room and met up with our tour group to go out to dinner and a bar. Dinner was fairly good, but no chicken because bird flu was in the region so we settled for some other dishes. Kelly got some interesting pasta dish that had lentil beans layered and Derek tried out the lamb. We then headed to a bar (one of the only ones since Egypt is a muslim country), but only stayed for a few drinks because we were pretty tired.
