Blue Mountains

Set off for the Blue Mountains. Overcast again but 27 degrees.
Went on the worlds steepest railway ride! Straight down a cliff face.

At the bottom we did the walk around the old coal mining area through bush. Very nice. We then took the cable car back to the top with some spectacular views. Went to a lookout point in the Blue Mountains that had beautiful views of the ‘Three Sisters’.
On the way home we stopped in Black Town and went to Featherdale Wildlife Park. Cannot recommend this place enough. Loved it. Got to feed and pat kangaroos that were wondering around, got to cuddle koalas, great views of an impressive croc just an overall great place with a fantastic setup.
Picked Amber (cousin) and her b/f Andrew up and went to ‘The Ranch’ for dinner. Was a pleasant evening and nice to get to know Amber who I hadn’t seen since we were about 10.
