Well we didn't exactly make it to Cambodia from Singapore and after some adventures eventually ended up on Tonsai beach in Krabi town. This beach was quite unique in its location and type of tourist. For one it is every rock climber's dream place to climb as the beach is surrounded by inviting mountains just begging for attention. For two even though it is not an island it feels like one as it is coved in by huge rocks making it accessible only via boat or a treacherous hike/climb across the rocks.

Looking the other way. Once again the beach is cut off by rough terrain.

The long stretch of Tonsai beach is entirely covered in a strip of funky and 'natural' looking bars and retaurants i.e. think bamboo and wood. The beach is visited by mostly young and for the most part quite fit travellers (lots of rock climbers with strong and lean physiques).  Lots of eye candy!
