On our third day we woke up and drove to the Neuwenstein Castle and then spent the rest of the day wandering the countryside - going to Austria (even though we had not really intended to), experiencing Swiss traffic jams and then managing to travel almost every street in Luzern, except for the one that held our hotel....
In the end, we arrived at the Hotel Des Alpes in time for wine and fondue!!! So, all is well that ends well OR so we thought!
